Our editorial decisions are based on our stated review methodology and the evidence we can verify.

- cause us to ignore negative evidence

- prevent us from publishing criticism of a company or product

We do not accept payment for a positive verdict
We do not sell positive reviews, scores, or recommendations.
Payment or an affiliate relationship does not guarantee favorable coverage.
If evidence is weak, important information cannot be verified, or marketing claims appear unsupported, we may say so.
Affiliate relationships may change
Affiliate programs can change, and a company may add, remove, or change its affiliate relationship with us.
Where practical, we identify affiliate relationships on pages containing relevant links.
The absence of an affiliate link does not mean we have no commercial relationship with a company unless we specifically state that.
Our priority
Our first responsibility as an educational website is to provide useful and accurate information.
Affiliate revenue can help support the website, research, publishing, tools, hosting, and other operating costs. It does not buy editorial approval.
If a commercial relationship ever conflicts with our editorial standards, our editorial standards take priority.
